About Us

As I've mentioned before, 94 Octane is made up of 2 essential items out there. You have the members and you have the community.

Without the members there would be no community, and without the community the members wouldn't be. So it's basically like the circle of life, except with gas, painted metal, and some rock music (ok, sometimes hip hop). But how did it all begin, how was it formed, when was it formed?!

The History
We originally started out (2002) when a couple of us (Beezer, Ruthless, Psycho, and Burn*) started video taping our endeavors and putting them online mainly for our friends to check out. Our goal with 94 Octane was to just have some fun, to show our friends what we did, and also get them in on some of the video. Later on (March 2003) I, Beezer bought my 3rd bike, a 2003 Ninja 636 and after having most of my friends sell their bikes I went out to find some new people to ride with ...I met up with Seventeen and Archangel* at what has now become my home and sanctuary. We went for rides and then one day we went for a ride that would soon change and shape the future of 94. The long weekend (May2-4) came and went, and that is when we launched our latest video filled with some new action of the great duo...and from then on we went and started shooting and taking things to the next level.

After some time however 94 reached all that it could, we became respected, and the riders in the area knew about us, but there was no way to unite the two. Due to a slight newspaper incident by yours truly some people thought of us as immature and newbie riders who didn't know any better so they sometimes looked the other way. We didn't know how to approach them and they didn't know how to approach us. Was this all 94 could do? Was this it's peak...that's what I thought until I met up with an old slight acquaintance who at the time, I didn't think would become one of my closest friends and riding buddies. If you do not know who I am talking about then you have missed the opportunity to meet a great guy. Gordon Haidy (Tik8s), may he rest in peace showed me what 94 could become, and with his help and leadership skills he united EVERYONE with the love for speed and the adrenaline rush that came with it into what has formed into the 94 Community. I am happy to say that without Gordon Haidy (Tik8s) this team would've still been where it was, if it woulda held up being that small. It has formed and shaped into this great community and so much more because of his attitude, respect for everyone, and his great leadership and riding skills that were never questioned. Gordon Haidy, you will never be forgotten.

The Present
What has 94 Octane become? Well, as you can see the curiosity and popularity of this team and community has gotten you to check out the website, and furthermore read about it and learn what it has inside. With one of the largest communities in the local tuner scene we're sure we've made clear opinions on what we are and what we hope to become. We've helped several tuners get great deals on items to make their cars perform and look better. We've also grown popular enough to have our very own local nite club, wisely named "Octane." But that's not all, we've also made ties with a certain insurance brokerage company that allows and helps us to get the very best in prices for our "high risk" riders and drivers. Let's also not forget that we were the first to hold a cross county "fun run" that involves every kind of vehicle from simple motorcycles all the way to luxury SUVs.

So what are we now? A great name in the tuner scene who hopes to help and bring more people with this passion into this great and ever fast growing community.

The Future
Let's see...the Speed Shop, local nite club, Speedball event, and insurance broker aside. We hope to reach new heights with our racing division, and maybe one day grow our stunt section a lot more...but for now we're focusing on a lot of track racing, both for the motorcycles and the cars. We're also hoping to get our name out to all over the North American area, I know it's a big dream, but that's my dream and hopefully I'll be able to accomplish it. Sponsorship will soon follow of course, and with a great team and community supporting us it's only a matter of time before it all becomes reality.

Can't forget about the worthwhile DVD that I'm putting together ...unlike a lot of the DVD's that I've purchased and have been boring and a waste of some serious money ...I'm working on making ours something you'll be able to watch without falling asleep. Of course you'll be able to be purchase and pickup this movie from what will hopefully become the new tuner shop in the Windsor area. This may not happen this year, may not happen the year after, but it will happen...

Where Are 94
The 94 Octane team and most of the community can be found in the city of Windsor. This city is a haven for underage American teens who cross every weekend to get smashed and to flood our city with their cash and passed out drunk bodies on the downtown curbs and bus stops.

But aside from Windsor you'll be able to find some 94 Octane community members all over the world. USA / UK / Germany / Saudi Arabia / UAE / Lebanon / Australia...and if I've left any out then I apologize, but you get the point!

But, What Are You
Well, to answer this question as easily as possible...the 94 Octane team consists of several different members each with their own special ability and technique. Some of us are all round street riders mixed in with some stunts that generally don't need any modifications to do. While others are built for the track and give the bike all that it's got on there, representing 94 to all the potential sponsors. Alongside the bikes, you have the cars which generally fit into these same 2 categories as well. You have the all around street drivers who show what they have on the street and in the car shows. While we also have the track participants who hit the 1/4 track every opportunity they get but still drive on the street in the pack.

What Do You Do
Aside from having a good time at our nite club, we spend a lot of the time together thinking up new things to try out and do. Going to most events in our area is one of the important things out there. We also teach other drivers and riders general tips on safety, riding/driving technique as well as some stunting in there. One of our other goals it to educate other drivers around us on how motorcycles are becoming more and more common every summer and how aware they have to be, especially during the beginning of the season.

We also organize several rides through out the city, and sometimes surrounding areas for other bikes and car enthusiasts so that we can all hit the road together and get to a destination where there's familiar faces, but a new surrounding. And finally we setup our own events for others to participate and have some fun in. All of this while maintaing a great circle of friends and managing this site to keep things up to date!

Well that's it for now...if you have any questions then drop'em our way and we'll be sure to answer them.
