Life is moving faster than ever, and things are changing for me everyday…. I recently graduated from St. Clair College under the Mechanical Engineering Program, got hitched with a Tier 1 Auto Parts Manufacturer in Windsor and have been working as a Quality Assurance Manager for the last 2 years. I definitely enjoy the challenge, but at times can be extremely demanding. When I’m not at work, you can find me in my garage working on one of many projects, riding with the team or just hangin’ out with family and friends.
As for the sport bike scene I’m still fairly new, just about a years worth of riding experience under my belt, so whether I’m riding alone or with the team, I’m learnin’ something new. I recently got the chance to attend the Fast Riding School at the Shannonville Race Track and I can honestly say that I learned more in the 4hrs of track time than I did in the whole year of street riding (I have my man G.Speed to thank for that, if it wasn’t for him I’d still be sportin’ the wanker stripes). Being out on the track with all the experienced riders really opened my eyes to Motorcycle Racing …seeing first hand just how intense it can really get. It was amazing. I have so much respect for all you track riders out there, It takes skill and a whole lotta guts to do what you do. Big Ups!!
As for my weapon of choice… well it’s a 2000 Yamaha YZF-R6.. By far my favorite 600cc on the market. I have tested a few of its close competitors but none of them felt quite as responsive and comfortable, as did the R6. It’s the perfect balance between power and handling.
Well that’s all people.… I’ll see ya, when I see ya. Peace.
Why We Like Him
I've never met Meetch, hell...I've barely talked to him before we started talking about getting this page put together...but from what I've heard this is a guy to keep your eye on.
Meetch is a stand up guy just like his brother (in heart at least :P ). His devotion to riding is clear to the naked eye. Having only been riding for less than a year he put his mind on learning and honing his skills at the FAST school. That right there will tell you that this man is serious about the 2 wheeled action and hopes to help us in educating other riders about general street and track riding. We're glad to have you on the team Meetch and we can't wait to see what you cook up next...
