Yo, my names Jerzy Kubiak, yes Jerzy, I’ve known guys from 94, for just over a year, and I’m happy I’ve met you guys/gals. I was known as “Scooter Boy”, because I used to ride a Honda Aero 80. People that know me; say overall I’m pretty crazy. But they also say I’m one of the smartest. There’s always a time and place for everything. I’m a pretty nice and funny guy, who just likes to make people happy. I’m a young guy, only seventeen, but I’ve experienced some cool stuff in my life. I got many hobbies; I grew up playing travel hockey for Windsor, and in the summer played travel soccer to keep in shape, I love hockey with a passion. I enjoy many other hobbies such as; paintball because it’s a chance for me to take out most of my anger… in a safe way. mountain biking, its such an adrenaline rush, I still wish I never sold my Norco VPS Shore, but that money went towards motorcycles. Golf which I love but absolutely hate at times because it’s so frustrating. I love Skiing, I’ve traveled to many places in the world, like to Europe and the best mountain in the world, Whistler; been there twice.

Jerzy- trustworthy, passionate, undomesticated, unyielding, humorous, polite,
I’m not a follower, I’m a leader. I like to be different, and learn things the hard way sometimes, but o well, I live life to the fullest and hold nothing back. I cherish life.

I love my family to death; I’d do anything for them. My parents are both from Poland, which means they are awfully strict. They wouldn’t like me get a 600 that’s why my first motorcycle was a Scooter, I always thought that were for losers, but once I looked at it and found out it cost $2,80 to fill up which last forever, and insurance is cheap, I couldn’t resist. I’ve learned a lot riding that little scooter; how careless Windsor drivers are, when you ride brainlessly there will be consequences. I was happy that I had that to drive, because I didn’t have to walk around or get rides like most of my friends.

After a year my parents told me I could get something bigger if I saved my money, which I did, and I sold my scooter to my dad, so I had some money saved up. I asked my dad if I could buy a Ninja 250 and it was alright with him, but after I did some research I thought it wouldn’t be the best motorcycle for me at the moment. A couple years back I went to Europe and everyone was riding either a scooter, or small sport bikes, So once I seen a Derbi GPR50 for sale and it was from a local dealer, I said yes. These Motorcycle are almost a full size 600, it looks like one, has everything that a real motorcycle would have but a 50cc engine. Many people say “Jerz, you’ve upgraded” but that’s not true I’ve dropped 30cc’s ha-ha. I love this motorcycle its taught me so much, on how to ride a real motorcycle with gears, not automatic like the scooter, how to take apart a motorcycle and put it all back together, since it’s a 2-stroke there’s much more maintenance, and it keeps pushing my riding ability. Numerous people say “why would you spend so much money on a 50cc motorcycle?” I say because its different, These Motorcycle are imported from Spain, only 25 in Canada; three of which are located in Ontario including mine. They line I hear the most and laugh every time is “Man you kidding me, that’s a 50cc? You’re lying right!” I’m Happy with it and that’s all that matters to me. Hopefully in the near future I’ll be upgrading and buying a nice new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R because its such a smooth bike, or a Suzuki GSX-R 600 because I’ve always loved em.

I believe that 94 Octane is like a giant family; everyone looks out for one another and treats you with respect. Which isn’t easy to find these days. Everyone is friendly and is always willing to give a helping hand. They’ll teach you how to ride properly and educate you about your motorcycle/car or what you own. Whenever you need someone to ride with or need advice someone is always there to help.
