From Neons to Lamborginis, Scions to Porsches, the exhibits were as different as the vehicles. Ford showed off a 100 foot long display screen showing commercials, while Scion had an MC mixing beats out of the back of one of their Xb's. There was something for everyone to see, smell, hear and touch.
Strangely enough, with the ever rising cost of oil, the horsepower race seems to be as alive as it was forty years ago. Dodge introduced the 350hp Hemi Charger, Ford had their 390hp SVT Sport Trac, as well as their 450hp Shelby Cobra, 550hp GT, and 550hp Concept Shelby.
Chevrolet had the 500hp Z06 Corvette, as well as their full line of V Series Cadillacs, all of which have more than 350hp.
Of course Ferraris, Porsches, and Lamborginis were there as well with their full complement of super exotics.
And lastly, not to be out done by anyone else, Saleen showed off their new Saleen Mustang right beside the Saleen S7 supercar in the main lobby of Cobo Hall.
