In any case... there is nothing like getting dirty and doing the work yourself. You know where every wire is, every bolt, and know your car intimately. Any problems and your the cars best friend. Psycho and I have done our cars the best way, that way. Nothing worse than bringing your car to a dealer that doesn't know shit about it.
Why Mustang?
It was a dark, sinful night the day I first laid eyes on that zinc yellow Mustang. During the hunt for a new vehicle its menacing stance eclipsed my eyes. How could it be that this AMERICAN made vehicle was catching my eyes? Stick, leather and V8 compliments ensured a swift purchase.
It was fast, it was fun but it was a Ford. Reliability issues caused grief for years, and the darkness set in. The options were to deal with the Ford dealer or to deal with it the only other way I knew, ground up changes.
Not many Ford pieces reside in my car this day and stand still 2nd gear burnouts are easily accomplished but the darkness hit harder as I saw people cropping up with shoehorned rip-offs of my car and the insanity began again with a totally original design. CF hood and Wings, CF compliments, many custom parts as well as the vertical doors and stage 5 racing suspension system. It is surely out of reach now isn't it? I don't know but it's not stopping until I'm positive of it.
Now I deal will 400-500hp stock vehicles... so I unleash the new menace. A 32valve DOHC V8 capable of 8000rpm redlines and ~400rwhp on tap. For now it will suit my needs.....until I decide to bolt up a supercharger.
This day it is a child of light, bringing happiness and joy to those around it, well that is as long as you're not eating its dust. ;)
Look forward to hanging this year.... keep it safe and fun ;)
Peace out... Bringer of light....
